Organizer: Kara Turner (Event Director)

This is a fun Score-O with a twist — there are no controls or punches, instead you have to hunt for clues on everyday objects within the control circle. There will be an optional map exchange for those looking to score more points.

Parking, registration and the start are all at the Mahone Bay Centre (45 School St). Registration opens at 10 and the mass start will be at 11am. Competitors will be given the map 1 minute before the start to plan a route. There will be a 1-hour time limit. The course will be around the streets of Mahone Bay and while there's not expected to be much traffic, competitors will need to take care crossing roads.

You will need a whistle and a pen or pencil (available at the start for anyone that doesn't have one). A watch is a good idea!

The fun-O fees are Youth (<16) $5; Adult $10; Group/Family $15. You will need to sign a waiver when you register if you are new to orienteering.

If this is your first time at an orienteering event DON'T WORRY! It's a very simple process to register and there are people who will help you get started.

Join us after the event at the Mug and Anchor Pub in Mahone Bay for refreshments and O-trivia.
